What is your church knife?

Our pastor is a blacksmith and has recently started making knives and cutting tools and has taken a few classes with a local Forged in Fire champion Deke Parker.
Last Sunday he brought a 4.5 inch hunting knife he is almost finished down to just the sharpening, to show me . He is coming along nicely in the craft. He made a point to catch me in discreet manner at the rear of the sanctuary by his office to show me before Sunday school closing and before services.
He makes a lot of different crafts , tools, ornamentals, and now knives. He is known as the blacksmithing pastor and has a cool looking maker’s stamp. He does some demonstrations around the area and is good at incorporating the gospel in the process.

Of course I bring a few knives to show him 😆 but usually I have my 2018 Buck 301 forum knife in pocket. He is a fun yet humble pastor and I enjoy his friendship.

My church attendance is limited to funerals. Dressing up for me means pants without grease stains or holes, then I like to carry my Brisa Necker. I use a pocket sheath that is secured to my trousers with a watch chain.

To expand on what barrabas74 said, with regard to having the best tool with you when going to your reward, what will the gods say if you did not exert your best effort?
To that end, take your 9mm. Pocket knife is optional, but take your usual anyway.
The 9mm is also useful in avoiding going to your reward.

not only can he give you spiritual advice, he can provide you with a good knife. Also a good way to witness too. My late pastor used to love horses, he rode and showed before he got sick, I gave him a case knife with a hoof pick. It gave me a lot of pleasure I gave him a tool he liked and actually used. I miss him a lot.

I like a small knife for Sunday, so an Opinel #6 or my MAM folder with spear point, both are light and easy to carry. Or a SA Alox Pioneer or my Swiza #3, I like a scout type knife.
