What is your favorite fixed blade knife

I just ordered a Benchmade 162 less than 3 min. ago. So I guess that I have to say the 162 is now my favorite. At least untill it gets here.

Here lie the two 'crummiest' knives in this thread.

I'll forego the boutique stuff and fancy steels here in appreciation of what a couple knives have already done for me. A criterion for "favorite" is how one would be impacted by its loss. These two I'd hate to lose:

For EDC:
Tekna dive knife -- my favorite fixed design since I acquired it in the 70's. A plus is that the handle lends itself to a good paracord or leather wrap to make it perfect for EDC. The sheath is half the deal---versatile and can be strapped, clipped or tucked ANYWHERE. I've carried it as a boot or tip-up draw rig on motorcycles, necked/MOLLE'd it on whitewater and packed it in the mountains as my tent knife. The handiest blade/sheath setup I own. I also parawrapped the sheath to completely hide the blade. 420 worry-free steel.

For the wild:
4.5" J. Martinni leuku -- given me in the late 60's when I was a pup...thank God. I started bushcraft with a leuku and I will end it with several. This was my first though. The birch handle has held up well though what's left of the varnish has yellowed and scraped off in few places and the blade has some pitting due to storage in its sheath---I treated it like crap. The leather sheath is still in good shape though the stamped decor has long since flattened back out. The original bevel is long gone but it still takes well to a stone at my custom while-watching-TV angle. Remarkable knife...my backup or pack knife on so many road trips and at my side through everything outdoor, even longer than my SAK.

I put a lot of stock in quality of service and saving my butt multiple times ...

It would have to be this Finnish Lauri puuko blade I mounted on a branch I found. It took me a while to finalize the handle shape, but it is now very comfortable, and the knife is great to work with. I have a smaller Mora 2/0 that is very nice, but this one means more since I worked on it.

I get it.

Howling Rat- fav all around bomb proof blade
Winkler Belt Knife- when i want something with a bit 'o' spice to it!
Koyote LBK- best all around hiking knife...

and ....

My go to chopper, the Battle Rat.

My favorite fixed blade is the discontinued 7" CRKT Ultima Tanto with the non serrated edge. Not ultra high dollar knives but hold a good edge and are built like a tank.

Awesome topic... some amazing fixed blades in here.

I dont have many fixed blades but my favorite is my Damascus Izula with TKC G10 handle:

Enzo Trapper in 01. Not fancy or terribly expensive, but it gets things done. Some beautiful blade here guys.

I am really pumped right now. Just received a benchmade 162 in the mail. I would have to say it is my favorite, at least for now. Time will tell. I know that it has the best steel of any knife I own.

Wilson Tactical model 25. 5" blade, 10" OAL. Been my daily carry for the past 7 years or so. Pried open more than a few shipping crates at a previous job with it, among other countless tasks. Almost 1/4" thick, D2 steel. Handle wrapped with a strip of bicycle inner tube for enhanced grip.

Googled this pic. I like functionality and this thing is killer in the woods. Approx 20" (50cm) long piece of carbon steel. Allows one handed 3 positions (baton, medium and close) to grip and also 2 handed grip.
