What is your favorite hard use fixed blade?

Got to be Cold Steel Trail Master. Perfect size chopper for comfy carry(16-18 oz) and big enough to do brutish woodswork, also splits kindling like a champ.

My JK Hiker (the black micarta scaled one) is my go to hard use woods blade.

The smaller JK is my daily carry knife that also gets used hard at home,in town,or in the woods.

(I wouldn't feel "under knifed" with the Mora either)

Out of the knifes I own... my favorite for hard use is my Busse NMSFNO.

edited: or maybe my Comp. Finish SJTAC. Hard to say which I like to beat up more.

My Busse CGFBM is my favorite, it has the perfect balance of weight, balance and INFI steel.

I have other choppers but, but the CGFBM is a true beast when it comes to chopping.

When I 1st got it.

Fresh back from the BUSSE SPA.

Martindale bolo machete. Actually it's my son's - mine's still got it's cherry. But if I have a really tough job I'll fire up the STIHL.

My K9 Dingo, reprofiled to 40 degrees inclusive on the Wicked Edge and kept hairpopping sharp on a loaded strop.

A medium sized beast & and an amazing knife.

I like my CS Trail Masters too, they are great knives, but like I posted nothing compares to the Busse CGFBM, it dwarfs the Trail Master. The Busse is just a beast of a chopper, holding one in your hand it just yells at you to go chop up something. :D

Question is what is your favorite hard use knife, not necessarily the toughest.
For thirty years I have carried a Camillus MKII knife, commonly referred to as a Kabar.
It has done everything I have asked of it, 1095 steel stays sharp and it is easy to sharpen when it is needed. A little oil on it once in a while and it is good to go.

It is not a pry bar, nor do I chop wood with it, these are jobs given to nonknife items.

Hard use knife...

Thats what Busse and INFI excel at. I can't think of a better(or as good as) "Hard Use" knife.

I have two: Puukko made by Pekka Kivimäki, a puukkosmith who lives Kauhava, the puukko county of Finland and my trust USMC Ka-Bar 1095 Cro-Van convex sharpened

BK-7 for a bigger knife Game Warden for smaller jobs.

JK Hiker for all around hard use.
