What is your favorite SAK to carry???

SwissBianco makes the "Micro-Farmer", now calling it the Cadet Plus I think. It's an alox cadet with a second blade and saw. Love mine.

I really like the compact, it's pen came in handy a while back at the DMV, and the parcel hook gets used more than I thought it would.

My Favorite is the Farmer. I need to get a Pioneer though. A little thinner, though I don't think of the farmer at all as bulky.

Alox Soldier, and a Rambler on the keychain. The compact is the best all-around daily EDC to me, but I don't get that warm feeling for it, it's just a sensible tool.

That's a good one. But Victorinox needs to stop sticking the dang phillips on the spine, where its almost unusable.

Swiss Champ, Champion and Explorer all have the phillips in right place (on the end) and that is one reason I like them.

I have several "favorite" saks but my favorite one to carry right now is my Wenger S10. Second favorite to carry would be my 84mm Victorinox Tinker.

I really like the two layers Alox versions like Pioneer, Electrician, Harvester etc.

The Cadet is also a nice knife to carry.

I prefer the Alox versions of the regular celidur ones, due to the slightly thicker blades. :) The other ones seem to be a little thinner.

Alox all the way. Pioneer/Soldier or Cadet. Colors are great, but get silver if you're going to use it and don't want it to look beat up.

Huntsman. It's too fat for comfortable pocket carry though, so it stays in my jacket. I need a thinner Swiss Army knife.

Been almost daily with an Explorer in my pocket. Recently acquired GAK gives me appreciation for the 103mm size, and the extra to hold onto in your hand. I'm giong to look for the similar one in red now, I think, or perhaps just a SOlo. A custom alox is something I have been thinking about, however.

No love for the Tinker or Huntsman? Those are my favorite, of what I've owned.

The Huntsman and Fieldmaster are probably my favorite saks. The 84/85mm models are hard to beat for ease of carry balanced with utility. I am of the small minority that never really warmed to the Alox models. Of the three I have owned only the Wenger SI remains. The Farmer and Electrician Plus passed through my hands rather quickly.

For EDC for an urban dweller I find that the Bantam or Cadet are perfect. I also always have a rally or a classic on my keys. for the better part of 8 years my only knife was a red Vic Bantam. It more than handled all the tasks that the warehouse through at me, including opening those friday afternoon beers.
