Just wondering what your ONE handle slab preference would be on a barlow?

Whether seen before or not...

Sawcut bone, light brown is nice (sorta like this old Ulster), but medium brown is okay too. OH

+ 1 African Blackwood.

I would love to see one in an antique peachseed jig bone like on the old Schrade patterns. Though, I haven't seen it on a barlow.

Saw cut bone browns and reds , ebony or blackwood, soup bone . I'll stop there

Maybe someone else could come in with a picture of it, but the best looking to me was the antique amber sawcut bone on the early Charlow that looked sort of greenish. Sawcut ram's horn would look great, too.

I really like good stag, barehead stag knives are a favorite.

Second choice is jogged bone.

I see so many people loving the saw cut, and it does have that vintage feel, but I've never quite warmed to it. Would like to try one someday to see if that would change my mind.
