Several of these are 40+. I expect them to outlive me without becoming old and in the way. Of them all, the small chef knife with the walnut handle is the golden child.

PM2 in plain s30v with SDK carbon fiber scales, titanium hardware and clip.

I regrind them, cut some of the spine hump of so it's straighter like a Military, cut the sharp corner off the thumb ramp so it's actually comfortable and not a hot spot, then crown it and the spine to dial comfort to 11. And for the past year and a half or so, since I learned how to do it, I also add serrations, but not SpyderEdge style that has two small and really hard to sharpen scallops for every moderate scallop, but all relatively large scallops with nice pointy teeth that can both puncture and slice.

Here is a Tenacious and two Resiliences in S35VN I modded. Old pic. The Resilitary has left the building, but I still have the other two.

But here are the knives I currently carry, one at home, and one in town and at the shop, along with a Millie, Millie 2, and PM2 I also modded.

I like the knives I have, and every time I've said I have a forever knife I end up selling it. I'm just going to keep my mouth shut and enjoy what I have. I will say, knives gifted from family members and friends should never be sold, and they should be forever knives!

I have been EDCing these two for over 20 years. A William Henry B-15 with a ZDP-189 San Mai blade and a Camillus CUDA MAXX with a custom Stellite 6-K blade.

It is now retired, replaced by a Carothers but it was the Cold Steel SRK I bought as a 14 year old in the late 1990s. I still have it.

As for folders, probably one of my 2 GB2s. And a Magnacut Sebenza that I carry for cleaner stuff.

You retired your SRK way too early. Them things were built to last. Pre-GSM Cold Steel was awesome.
