What is your forever knife

You retired your SRK way too early. Them things were built to last. Pre-GSM Cold Steel was awesome.

I still have it and use it occasionally.

They were really cheap on the used market when I picked this one up. Never seemed to be very popular for ZT.

I love it. It's light, thin, has superb cutting performance, thin blade stock, and fits my hand perfectly. It's like a full Ti, framelock, ZT flipper Bugout.

I've had quite a few "forever" knives dissappear due to medical bills. This one however, will stay with me forever because I adore it and also because it's not worth much.




It also happens to be my most used woods knife, the balance is exceptional.

I'm still super jealous of your vintage Roselli. I need to start keeping an eye out on ebay because everything about the newer ones is just plain bad.

Benchmade 710. I moved away from it for a while playing with other knives, then when I lived and worked in a city with a blade limit, but went back to it when I could.

My Ka-Bar was my go to fixed for many years. I'd sort of replaced it with a Cold Steel Outdoorsman in like 2002, but it still was in my ruck overseas. I might finally have replaced it with a Spartan Difensa though. I'll never put it through some of the tasks I did with my Ka-Bar though. At least not if I'm not just larping as an old man lol. No more sector stakes being cut, or running around getting soaked in the rain or covered in dessert sand.

In a fixed blade it would be the Cold Steel Recon Scout in 3v; ive used it enough to realize its size and cutting ability is exactly what i need. In a folder i have no idea .....

This is a tough one... but the one knife that I always go back to is a Buck 110.
And the second would be my Hinderer XM18.

The Buck can handle anything that I need a knife for and the XM18 just begs to be used.
