What is your job

Retired from the Alabama Two-year College system after 32+ years. About 20 of those years as an Collision Repair instructor, and the last 10 in Administration.

Retired in December, '06, now fumbling around trying to learn knifemaking full-time.

12 years U.S. Navy. 5 years sales manager for a car dealer. 4 years owning a 4 wheel drive shop and racing professional rockcrawling. 2 years as a plant manager of a RV parts factory. 1 1/2 years owning and operating our present company were I get to make parts for the best group of people I've ever had the pleasure to know-knifemakers. One day soon, I will be a knifemaker too.:D
 
Any special training or props used in that line of work I.E. (training) bit shXt a$$ grin, head slowly bobbing left to right :rolleyes:, (props) white cain, sunglasses :cool: ?

Yep, old guitar case, filled with worn out hack saw, broken files, worn out grinder belts, used bandaids and eviction notice. A backpack and sleeping half burned sleeping bag is optional.
 
Medicalled out of Army in 04... big green weinie on that one :(

Work at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (Sonatas and Santa Fes) since 05 as a Quality Control Test Track Driver. I put cars through the paces before we sell them to you. If you own a 06-Present Sonota or a 07-present Santa Fe there's a better than 10% chance that I've had something to do with your vehicle. Errrr if it smelled kinda bad then that was someone else :rolleyes:
 
Active duty Army, Infantry. Currently the Battalion Operations Officer (S3).
I develope, plan, coordinate and follow through execution of training and missions for my Battalion.

In my early teens I earned some money mowing lawns. A few years ago I worked for a farmer for several hours baling hay.... Otherwise, the only job I've ever had was knifemaking.
 
i gess its my turn. i started this year as a full time knifemaker and did that for a few months then my wife left me and thing got good. i got offered a machinist job where we make all kinds of things. gun parts, guns, cross bow auctions, parts for electron microscopes, apache helicopter parts. and anything people want. full payed benafits with dental, 2 weeks payed vaction and 8 payed holadays off. plus i get to use all the equiptment for my own projects if im clocked out. talk about blessings :D
 
Reg.Nurse 2 years to C.R.N.A. (nurse anesthetist) 25 years.
Quit to set-up and manage a food program at our Church.
Feeding 600 to 1000 families a month.
You get to starving making knives, I can fix you right up :-)
