What is your OTHER expensive hobby?

BUSSE knives, GLOCKS, 4-wheeling my Rubicon, and drag racing my Suzuki Hayabusa. Oh yeah, I love the UFC, (if you couldnt tell by mt avitar) :)

Used to play Rugby (travel, hotels, gear, booze, Tylenol) now I play w/ a Pipe & Drum Band (travel, hotels, gear, booze, Tylenol)
I also throw Boomerangs- not as spendy as knives, but addictive...
You are almost an honarary Australian on that basis :D

I am very much into Custom knives!! It is wonderful having a custom knife, knowing that there isn't another one exactly like it!
I also love my guns.

Guns, martial arts weapons...and my main hobby: Hardcover and Trade Comics!

In fact, my guns and weapons share space with my 3 book cases of comics. I have a closet full of ammo and gun accessories, a wall full of martial weapons (Oriental, European, Indian..etc) and 2 walls covered in comicbook stuff.

I really want to start a flashlight collection. At first I though it was the most stupid hobby of all...collecting flashlights. Now that I've been looking at them, and playing with a variety of them....I am obsessed!

My new expensive hobby is turning out to be high quality LED flashlights. As if the basic incan Surefires weren't enough for my wallet, I have to go and get addicted to these newfangled LED lights too.

Just sent a perfectly fine Surefire L2 off to a guy to have some custom modifications done. You don't wanna know what it's gonna cost me, believe me.

Golf..........expensive...........:p

Chris D. :D

I heard that, my friend. Golf IS a sport for the rich.

I play maybe a couple of times a year, but that doesn't seem to stop me from spending several hundred dollars on new clubs all the time.

I do golf on the cheap.

I have off-name clubs. They're nice and they're custom fit to me. While very PING-like, they're not PINGs.

I walk. Hell, I despise golf carts anyway. When I can't walk the course and pull my clubs along behind me, I'm calling it quits. I've played with 80 year-old men walking and playing. I hope to be like them one day. (Poor and happy? :D)

I play local munis. About a buck a hole. There are 4 nice courses in the area where you can get in 18 for under $25.

I have a flashlight addiction as well. I have SF's, but have been into really good LED's.
I have a pen habit too.

Firearms (shotguns and revolvers)
Music (Gets very expensive, but in small doses - like a severe crack addiction)
Foodie & amateur home cook
Hiking (I'm about to overhaul my old gear to newer [lightweight] stuff. I can hear the checking account scream...)

Fell out of the flashlight hobbyist thing a couple of months ago. Probably my propensity to get bored with electronics. Once I understand all of the underlying intricacies of stuff, I lose interest. Now my brain shuts down when someone mentions how much RAM is in their computer, or the size of their hard drive. Linux? Huh? Now all I want is a computer that works when I switch it on. Same thing with the flashlights. Cars, too... used to be a HUGE car nut. Learned so much, but the actual enthusiast side of automobiles no longer interests me.

I am a budding watch collector and enthusiast. I can feel it it.

I have a $150 set of Wilson clubs that I abuse at the local driving range about twice a month. Guess that doesn't qualify as a hobby. Yet. :p

I am like alot of people on here I like 20th century milsurp bolt guns especially Enfields. I collect comic books so when my favorite author Garth Ennis wrote a seris called "303" I was in heaven. I like to have one hobby influence the other
as I make knives (total amature) the next knife I am making will be from the comic Powers. I used to be into cars specificaly Ford muscle cars but I got a Honda 919 motorbike and now my 65 ford custom 500(bare bones galaxy 2door post) with an 80's 5.0, and 4 speed is languishing under a pile of snow.
I may try to make some bar ends for the bike out of damascus and get some knife style engraving done on it. I spend alot of time on knife and sword fighting and am quite the history buff. I quit skateboarding when I moved to the woods of nothern sask but now I am in a small city so I will pick it up again in the summer. I would like to take up archery and bowhunting but belive it or not am having a hard time finding the cash and sparetime.

Knives recently, not sure how that got started, but I really seem to like it. 1911 Pistols. Cooper Arms rifles. Theres more, but it gets embarrasing.

And a genuine hang-up with BBQ Pits,Grills,Smokers. Its been out of control for some time. Startin another custom trailer smoker next month after just finnishing a rather pricey Trailer Grill. I'll put up some pics soon...
