What is your toughest, most durable blade you own?

Busse would probably even cover that with their warranty

Depends on a lot, mostly if they have another to send you. If not, well:

"That model is no longer produced and the custom shop is fresh out of blanks for it..., but we will happily offer you store credit enough to buy a knife 1/4 the size..."

Well, the two that have suprised me the most are an old cold steel kukri and a mora companion. Both were dirt cheap and have so far been indestructible. Great values!

What knife is this?

I really like the looks of it!

Sorry I didn't see this right away, but the others got it, BB13 in INFI.

Here's another pic, just because I like this one a lot. All plenty tough :

These throwing knives have taken the punishment (made for Knifethrowing UK) :

You asked for tough and durable and the above keep on surviving throwing abuse, but then they were made to.
I'm less harsh on my cutting knives.

It's had some use. I contemplated selling it, due to me preferring my fallkniven. But I can't bring myself to get rid of it. It's an awesome blade.

What steel is fallkniven? And what do you prefer about it? Busse tend to come with relatively thick edges, i know my rmd sure isnt the slicest blade

If I had to pick the absolute 'toughest,' probably the Busse Tankbuster. I have other very tough knives, but the Tankbuster just feels literally almost unbreakable. I think its the relatively short blade combined with the thickness, width, grind, profile, and balance.

Makes sense, tank buster sure seems like a beast of a blade. It is one of my favourite looking busse including my prefferred specs for a knife. To bad they dont show up on the exchange much.

I really like the cutting geometry on the fallkniven. I've had to reprofile my edges on all my busse and kin. They come extremely thick with poor cutting ability. The fallkniven is cobalt special. It also holds an edge much better than my busses cutting rope, and chopping so far it has held up really well. The only thing is yesterday I noticed I developed a crack in the wood handle. Probably from batonning. So I'm thinking of ordering a block of g10 and re handling it! But the blade is indestructible!!!
