What is your ultimate grail knife?

A Spyderco PM2, Manix 2, Shaman, or Caribbean in MagnaCut. That would do it for me. I’m not into fancy handle materials and won’t hang onto knives I won’t use.

My grail knife?

I think my grail folder is a small Sabenza 21(or 31) with an Insingo blade.

I’ve tried a small Inkosi Insingo and found that just slightly to small.
Also tried a full size Sebenza 21 and found it much to big.

As for a fixed blade grail, CPK’s EDC or EDC2.

Picking a grail knife gets harder as I get older. I guess that I have become much more critical with age. I know that my needs have certainly changed as time has rolled on.

I am now looking ahead with my knife purchasing. I ask myself if I will be able to use knife “X” five or ten years down the road. Most of the time the answer is no.

Since I'm not really able to buy crazy expensive knives, I'd say my grail within reach one-day would be a sabenza or a hinderer or zt. If I could squeeze a few hundred or a bunch of hundreds more I'd go for a Shirogrov or a nice custom.

Some tiny - say case peanut sized - slip joint by custom knife maker. Maybe I’ll get one my next birthday with big numbers.

Why get something that small when your motor skills will get worse as you grow older?

Well, bot THAT big numbers. :D I made that up because I didn’t know what the term in english is when you get even numbers.

I won them. A Lochsa, a Kressler, Neilson.....I don't have a fowler yet. Though I own Moran which I gave to ny dad and a Lovess to my uncle. Mine now are high end knives with unique steels. My boss is knie but never carried. Hmm want an old sheath style winkler.....there are more haha
