What It Means To Be An INFI HOG!!!! . . . .

Being able to congratulate the guy who snagged the knife you wanted and actually mean it.

To be an INFI HOG means the first thought to pop into your head when you hear that Busse might be using your quote in a magazine is "I wonder if I will get some shop credit if they use my line"

:D

Altered perceptions!!

I am not yet a hog, but I think it means that while you care deeply for your INFI-crazed kindred brothers and sisters in all other matters of life, you will happily trounce them at any Busse trough if you see a blade that you must have.

Oh, and it also means that Jerry is buying the next round for you :)

Oh, and it also means that Garth needs to make me a ZT BM E right now.

Oh, and it also means that Amy gives you a smile and a hug that makes you feel happy.

What does it mean to be and INFI Hog?

I think it's as simple as this: it's a commitment that's made between Jerry and the Hog; what Jerry makes, the Hog buys. In reality, you can't buy them all, right? But whatever the current offering is at the factory site, buy it. What's offered at the Co. store, buy one (or whatever). Ganzaas; its not a matter of "if" you're participating, but "how many" you're planning on scoring. With gazaas practice makes perfect, so don't give up if you flail the first time.

I'm just here for Amy-O! ;)
I forgot what number I am on her list of stalkers?

66. I thought that it was 45, but I think that I'm confusing your number with the amount of CGFBM's in that cool pic! :D

I haven't seen that photo before. Very Cool!!

To me, being an INFI HOG is three dimensional. For one thing, you are a member of a tight-knit fraternity that not only cares for one other, but also welcomes new members. Next, an INFI HOG has a deep appreciation for the knife collecting hobby as a whole, but even more importantly, has a deep appreciation for the best tools in the industry that are made with the best materials in the industry, by the best folks in the business. Finally, being an INFI HOG means you are willing to take one of the best knives in the universe and use it as it was designed and meant to be used (no offense, Bravado!).

FlatLander had it right with the immortal
"Busse, knives you swear by, not at" Or something close to that.

Do I get a small shop credit for that?

Infi Hog: One who begins out as a collector of Busse knives, but soon realizes that when you collect Busse's, you also begin to collect new family members as this group is close, but always open to new members. An infi hog has no regrets in chasing down and trampling someone for a knife, but also has no regrets helping out a new hog with finding a knife or with selling one behind the scenes for the same amount originally paid. It means giving up your life for a week and almost losing your job cause you wanted to prove that West Coast dominates death chats; always have, always will. It means that you are part of one of the greatest knife groups around. Busse combat may begin about knives, but it continues due to the ever growing family and friendship that is found with Busse Combat.

When you purchase infi, you aren't adding a knife to your collection... Infi is adding you to the Busse Collection. Drink the Kool Aid, join a death chat and enjoy the family that is Busse Combat.

With that, I am off to drink coffee with 3hrs of sleep and then on to my two finals today that start in an hour and four minutes.:yawn:

You get all this with INFI; The Best Knives, the Best customer service and the Best people! INFI, Get It!

Someone who loves INFI, enjoys the Busse community, and is characterized by integrity and patriotism.

To be an INFI HOG. DEDICATION, ALLOCATION OF RESOURCES, and COMMUNITY.
Dedication> An INFI HOG, thinks of his Busse's as almost family in that to sell one is very difficult and usually wishing it was back home once it is shipped. When someone offers to trade you another brand on one of your Busse's and you almost feel offended that they would even suggest such blasphamy. No matter what new knife comes out from other manufacturers, Your still waiting for the next Busse to come out.
Allocation of Resources> An INFI HOG knows what it means to skimp, trade, save penny's and eat ramen noodles, just to save up enough money for the next Ganzaa or offering. The wife, is given trinkets and diamonds to get her in the mode for another big brown box coming to the house... and when that fails.. well, the "stash fund" that saved up from months of selling and saving is reverted to. To have money for infi has even meant not eating lunch and saving up lunch fundage:-)
Finally the HOG community. At gunshows, other forums, and get togethers.. HOGS find their compatriots and view them with a sense of Brother hood, in that "yes, You understand the power of the INFI". HOGS help each other, argue with each other, take eachother's knives up for sale... but they are still brother HOGS... And the Busse guys... Jerry as the head hog farmer... well, all I can say is they all Rock.. I have never had a problem with any Busse, but I know if I did, they would take care of me...
INFI HOGS???? a unique bunch that I'm glad I became a part of..

I think being an INFI Hog means belonging to the most prestigious and expensive knife cult of all time!
