At one point a few months back, I think I had 2 or 3 of them. I finally felt comfortable not needing a backup and sold off my extras. I don't think they are all that hard to get if you give it the old college try. In fact, TRM had a bunch available FS just this evening for about 4 minutes. The Ti Atom should become available for some short period of time this December. If you don't score one though, keep in mind the fact that it is going to be a regular production knife for them and it's likely just a matter of time before you score.Man I wish I could get a hold of a TRM Atom, especially the ti version.
I feel like a ceramic ball might cause problems
Whyzat? I've never had an issue with ceramic detent balls in the past...I feel like a ceramic ball might cause problems
I've never actually seen that happen, and I've got some OLD folders with ceramic balls and probably millions of cycles...but that's just me.this D2 doesn't seem super hard to me. My thought is 75hrc ceramic might dig a trough and create more surface area to rub against. I recall Bing having some issues, although I don't remember the exact details
Let me know how it works out, inquiring minds need to know!
