  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What kind of folder do you carry?

I love this steel. Everyone says you need to baby the crap out of it and keep oiled. All I do is rinse and dry after use and that’s only if I cut food. Excellent edge retention/stability and easy to sharpen.

I have the benefit if living in a very dry climate, but I haven't oiled mine in 6 months. Rinse and dry after use - same here. That's it. I kind of wish it would develop more patina, actually.
