What kind of folder do you carry?

Carbon Fiber FriMonday, back at the grind for night 1/7 with an old school Beretta/ Warren Thomas Avenger II...such a wicked chisel grind on this CF/VG-10 laminated bladešŸ˜Ž

Oh man...I had one of those. Such a cool knife!

I certainly have a typešŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ˜‚
True story: it’s one of a small number of the (hundreds) of folders I have actually bought twice. It is such a cool piece with that bonded cf piece to strengthen the blade. Amazing design executed well at a fair price.

That said, it is very weapon-like (at least to those who cannot appreciate what they are looking at) and marketed by well known firearms manufacturer. That made me very hesitant to carry it in Canada and so I sold it. Twice.

Can’t carry weapons around in Canada, only tools. And all my tools are users and get carried. I still kinda miss mine though.

The TRM Neutron 2 has been in my pocket a bunch lately. Nice and slim, low profile, enough blade for pretty much any EDC task. TRM takes these down pretty thin and I’ve had some chipping on my Atom, I suspect the thin edges would see a noticeable improvement in Magnacut.

I've noticed the same with my TRM atom and thought the exact same about magnacut! lol

Throwback Thursday with an old school Gerber Parabellum, another one of "Blackie" Collins' groundbreaking designs...the Bolt Action lock was a revolutionary concept that went on to inspire many other designsšŸ˜Ž
