I’ve really been liking this Sebenza 31 with S45VN. I can definitely feel the difference in this steel compared to my others in S35VN which I didn’t think would be the case. I sent it back to get the glass blast finish which is also a first for me and it goes pretty damn nice with the polished blade.

I like the 0308 (only chonky ZT I still own), but it looks a lot better with aftermarket micarta or wood scales.

Rhidian knives are so sweet. How do you like the Trapper?

I love it! If it was maybe a 1/4" longer, it would be absolutely perfect. That said, it's a very efficient design - lots of blade in a tidy, comfortable package. And, of course, it is pretty damn perfectly made. It's one of the nicest slipjoints I own now.

I think I remember seeing USA Made Blade carrying a bunch of 0308s with custom wood and micarta options. They look fantastic!

Yes, that’s where I got my ironwood scale. They’re very nice, but can’t remember who makes them (last I heard, he was only selling through UMB anyway).
You used to be able to buy a scale separately, or a pre-installed one for not much more than the MAP of the regular knife. Not sure what they offer currently.
