I picked this one out personally at the Spyderco Factory Store! My show side and opposite side scales are VERY different, both in look and texture.

That is EXACTLY what Sal designed it for!!! (Way back when.) There was a recent post on the Spyderco forums discussing this.

I'm fortunate to have a great circle of friends in the industry who keep an eye out for weird stuff for me, the Diver's Probe came through John Gray...he loves the oddball pieces too
