Well, I bought my 1st Shiro last night off of one of the few authorized US dealers (Recon1). I was trying to resist until ‘25 or until after I get a Nathan the Machinist AND/OR a CPK Mark folder….Well….great things need to be compared to other great things, don’t they ?

Probably won’t receive the Shiro until middle of next week. That said, I’m excited enough that I must post a couple if pics off of the dealer’s website.





Pics don’t do Shirogorov’s Technocarbon inlays a lick of justice. I’m confident that there’ll be other astonishing details of the knife so expect more pics and opinion later in the week. This one should be very cool !

How would you rate the toughness compared to those others in the pic? I’m thinking stronger than pm2, on par with CRK, less than Hinderer?
