What kind of folder do you carry?

Just got this last weekend. I’ve been wanting one since about 2012 haha. Finally bought one since they are changing to the new design. Can’t wait to use it a bunch!

Sometimes less is more. These three are the entirety of my folder collection and I am very content. The Shiro is new-to-me as of this afternoon. It's on washers and is very, very choice.

Grats, looks like that you got yourself a very nice OG Hati, I always wanted one but stopped the chase after I realized that I had to chase the price which is not me. If I had to own any CRK, I'd probably look for the exact Inkosi set up which you own ;)

I rarely partake in this thread because I have not bought any folders for a quite a while, but I agree with your less-is-more concept with one exception and that is when both quality and quantity are such equally overwhelming forces making the LiM decisions very, very hard. Plus both Nathan & Jo are such great people that I felt miserably lacking when I tried the LiM concept with my CPKs ;)

Casinostocks Casinostocks that's a L21... But there is the same configuration in an Inkosi so maybe that's what you meant.

As far as this Shiro is concerned, I am doubly impressed today with the edge and the steel. I spent about 30 minutes whittling a very dry, hard stick from a maple tree. I whittled, whacked, and twisted the edge through the stick in fairly sloppy, intentionally "cringe worthy" technique. Not a chip or a roll to be found. I was being unkind on purpose to the showy, mirror edge it came with. Took it all in stride, which I am quite sure the CRK would not have.

You've got some nice folders there for sure. I must say though--and I don't think I am alone in thinking this--the thing that most impresses me is that you only have three folders. Seriously. I don't have a $hit-ton by any stretch, but to get down to just three would be next to impossible for me. Heck, I have 3 PM2s and I would be hard pressed to pick even just one of them.

My bad, I got my INs wrong! I meant to say Insingo as in the blade shape and not Inkosi as in the knife model  Just goes to show that it's been quite a while since I've been lurking around CRKs.

As fo the toughness of Shiro vs CRK, again there's no contest. Those GRU bastids win hands down and every time till the CPK-Folder comes into the fray, hehehehehe <GRINS>
