I go back and forth between a Camillus 710 (peanut?) and this old Imperial
For my next purchase, I can't decide between the Bulldog 2000 Canoe (celluloid, I love it!) or the Queen Stag-bone canoe. I've been going back and forth for over a week now
The 710 and the Imperial both have half-stops. I really like half-stops, anyone know about the Queens & Bulldogs?
In fact a half-stop list wouldn't be a bad idea...
It usually stays in my office but sometimes I carry my SAK Soldier aound with me. It was one of the gifts that I gave to all the guys in my wedding. (couldn't be left out so I got one for myself too )
Rarely carry a traditional (but always a SAK or two). When I do carry one it is either:
1) Case Copperhead with CS blades and brown bone scales. I don't carry this one too much because I have problems with my nerve damaged fingers opening the small blade due to the nick being on the 'wrong' side.
2) Case splitback Whittler with CS blades and brown bone. This I a bigger SJ than I thought I would carry, but I love the combination of big stout spearpoint blade and the two very small blades.
As my Queen D2 Whittler does not have half stopps, my small D2 stockman does. Not sure why but think it depends on the style as to witch has them and witch do not with the Queen D2s.
I don't carry a slipjoint daily, but when I do....it's a Case small stockman. The Stockman is my favorite slipjoint style.
