What knife are ya carrying most these days ?

In the field? Just a folder or multitool or both
any combo of these:
Paratool by SOG
Wave
Case Gunboat Canoe
Case Wharncliffe Trapper

What I've been using the most the last couple of weeks have been my Koster
Bushcraft and my Leatherman Charge. The Scrapper and the Fiskars hatchet
have been used as well, but not as much as the first two I mentioned.

Spyderco Endura 4 ZDP189 that I reprofiled flat to the saber grind to turn it into a scandi ground knife. :)

I'm waiting on Jeff Law to shoot me an email to send it to him...he made a great horizontal/vertical sheath for my Bravo-1 ROCK6

Hey ROCK,

Any chance of a picture(s) of that horizontal/vertical Bravo-1 sheath? I have 2 Bravo-1's but I haven't been carrying them because I don't like the sheaths. I have both the stock kydex and the Sharpshooter leather one, which is very nice, just doesn't ring my bells, so I end up taking my R.A.T. RC-3 when I am in the woods because I find the sheath so accessible (I use it as a pocket sheath and as a neck sheath)

I really wish I could get a similar sheath for the Bravo. Anyway, I'm interested in seeing what you have.

As far as EDC, Buck Alpha Dorado in 154CM, Spyderco Manix in FG and also, usually, a Benchmade AFCK in ATS-34. Somebody called the Manix a pocket hog, which it truly is, but I've been EDCing it since I got it - man, it is one sturdy folder. I almost forgot, I also EDC a Vic Spirit. Along with a Fenix L2D, I'm starting to look like Batman with his utility belt! :o Mind you, half the stuff I use for work.

Working in a place where it's business dress, tie and all, I carry a Spyderco Caly 3 laminated/Carbon Fiber at the moment. I was carrying the CF Sage for a while, but it's a little big. The Caly 3 sits deep in my pocket so it's pretty unobtrusive.

On the weekends around town, it's usually a Wilson RRF or a Sebenza.

In the woods, it varies a lot and it's usually more than one. I'm thinking I'll be carrying one of these two tomorrow on a hike.

Hi all, I made this one up a few days back. I have been carrying it as my EDC and have used for kitchen duties and as well as for camp chores. From slicing up food in the kitchen to shaving and whittling while sitten next to the nightly family campfires here on the farm. I have not reached into the knife drawer in the kitchen, I have just been using this one and so far i am very pleased with the blade shape and of course the Hamilton handle is my handle choice for my personal carry knives. this knife has a 5" blade length and is 5/32" thick and 1" and 3/16" wide with a 4.5" handle. I am calling this the
T ( Tyson) H ( Hamilton) Buschcrafter. Because it has a Tyson Knife blade shape and the Jeff Hamilton handle design that Jeff H from here on the forums sent me for a knife that he wanted made. I made the handle for Jeff and since then have made the handles like this for myself to and have not looked back. I think they are just plain Awesome.:D

Since tomorrow is sunday an that is the day I work on my personal knives and the making of them for the most part. I plan to start a 6" version and a couple of smaller ones with 3.75" blade lengths and 4.25" for the handle lengths with a thicknesses of 1/8" and 3/32" these are going to go in my shoulder kits that I carry. Well that is the plan as of now. LOL I will post some pics when they are done and some of the new things I have added to my kits as well.

Well any ways this is what I have been carrying and using as of late.

J,
I tell you, so far since making up this knife and using it on all the kitchen and campfire chores that I have been doing I very pleased. I would even go to say this is my favorite
knife design. and yea the handle is comfy to. LOL

take care,

Bryan

Yea there has been a few of them 10 or so. I know I am going to make up a few more for me LOL
Email Jeff H and have him tell you why he thought this design, would, as Jeff felt it would really make doing snap cuts work so well. I do not explain it like he does but it works just like he said. Jeff hit the nail on the head I feel.

Thanks for the link Mike. He really does some beautiful work. Too bad my knife budget has tanked. :(
