What knife company is the most ruinous to your wallet?

First it was Spyderco then Crk and strider. Then I found the big Chris customs. Lately it's the busse and kin.

Hey, it keeps me out of the saloons.

Western and Kabar fixed blades - especially the 1920s - 1950s. They made way too versions over that time frame that I don't have yet. :D

I'd have to say Great Eastern Cutlery (GEC) made knives for me. I keep buying them and have no need for more. I find them overall to be very attractive knives.

Fiddleback (incl. WA Surls & Osprey), Brian Nadeau, Bark River, Alan Warren, Bob Dozier, ZT, Microtech, Spyderco, Reate, ... uh... wow... maybe I need to seek some professional help...

That kind of reminds me... Benchmade isn't earning many of my dollars anymore. Not sure what's up with them.

For me it's Reate. I want everything they make and am consistently impressed. The new torrent will take some saving up for me. The last one I got, the Valkyrie 2 from Fort Henry Custom Knives set me back a bit but is absolutely stunningly awesome.

I had been Emerson for a good while (especially the handmade customs), but I'm back to CRK for the past year or so. I feel a Rockstead itch lately, but haven't "scratched".
