What knife did you carry *most* in 2000?

Gerber small, red LST w/clip,Gerber two bladed Silver Knight,Cammilus small "Yellow Jaket" lockback, Bear small brass scaled lockback, two 3 1/4" stockman, jigged bone scales(Robsen and Queen). My two key rings have yellow scaled Vic classics with the old style nail cleaner. I find all very useful for daily tasks such as fingernail care, cutting string, clipping coupons out of newspapers, opening letters and boxes, slicing tomatoes-apples-fruit for lunch or if I get tired of breaking plastic knives or dealing with dull ones at a resturant etc. If on the job and I need some heavier duty cutting a Spydie dyiad (ats55)works great (the serrated blade really cuts through heavy cardboard, fiber tape, rope etc)All are fairly inexpensive and can be replaced if lost. I can also go to the airport to pick somebody up and not get a hassle at the security checkpoint plus they are small, light easy to carry and are there when you need 'em. I can sit in front of the TV with my Spydie ceramic stones and touch 'em during the commercials. KISS Weldonk

the knife i carrid most in 2000 had to be my Smith & Wesson SWAT knife..carbon fibre handle, half serrated. y? because it is a good working knife. don't mind banging it up, nice and sharp, easy to resharpen, easy to open(flicks out nice and quick), and big enough to fill all needs i would commonly have(u should see the boxes run in terror!). second to this was probably my spydie native. seems to feel very good while cutting/working. nice feel to it

since i didn't seem to get to that other thread about what we were carrying right b4/after 2000/01, id like to say that when i got in my accident on new years eve this year, i was carrying both my S&W SWAT, and my buck odyssey(sp?). noone really bothered me about them, even in the ambulance or er. just temporarily took them off my person while they examined me. but, anyway, i was ready if i needed to cut the seatbelt!!!

sorry for the slight off topic. oh, and noone was seriously injured, just some minor scrapes and cuts...but we're better. and no drinkin', either....ok, now im rambling. sorry ; D

Most carried in 2000 was my Victorinox Recruit (which I lost at work). It has been replaced with the Victorinox Electrician (for work) and the Wenger Handyman (for everywhere else).

Fairly even split...REKAT PIONEER II, then the BM Osborne 940, then the PIONEER II again, then the LCC, then the PIONEER II again.

Not to mention that I have had my Lynn Griffith Patrolman around my neck nearly EVERYDAY since receiving it in October I think...

It would have to be the LCC M/A, this knife just begs to be used. I was afraid when I first purchased it that I would be afraid to carry and use it (because it is a gorgeous folder) but it is always the knife I reach for to put in my pocket every morning. Second most carried would have to be the Kershaw whirlwind, gotta love that Speed Safe. I would love to get a Boa next. There are so many great knives out there though, it really is hard to pick one.

Have to say the one that never varied was the Victorinox SAK Mechanic in my left front pocket. Strong side carry varied between a CRKT M16 spear point and a CKFF. A Buck Odesey got a little time as did the Spyderco Endura, but the CKFF (small) was the favored one.

I guess I'm still pretty much backwards here. Still carrying the SAK Adventurer the most. And since I added the clip, it sits better and doesn't get lost in the pocket. The next knife I had on me, and almost as often, was the Spyderco Delica. Recently got the Endura, and I'm carrying that in the Delica's place, but I think that once I can get hold of the new Delica, the Endura is going back in its box. Just a little too big for my puny hands.

Actually, my army handle used to be MacGyver, so I guess you know why the SAK is still spending more time in my pocket than any other knife.

David Broadwell's LDC-107. Best designed liner locking tactical folder to my eye that I've found. Ended up beating the other 20+ daily carry candidates most often.

(I like Darrel Ralph's EDC in many ways, IF tastefully executed, in 420V, clipped point is dropped enough and the recurve...and good strong lock. Good stuff.)
