What knife do you own that you would never part with?

Which knife in your collection could you never part with. For me it would be my Sog Seal 2000. As I received it as a groomsman's gift from my brothers wedding. On the bigger than knife side it would be my samurai sword my grandfather earned the hard way in the pacific and somehow ended up with me . Call me sentimental but I love having that sword as a reminder of the service and sacrifice of my ancestors for this country.

I don't think I could part with my plain-edge micarta Calypso Jr or my G-10 Police because they are so well made and so hard to find.

Allen.

The two that come to mind immediately were both stolen.

My customized AFCK is never going to leave my ownership again.

My Cam-Lok from Camillus for one. The one my Grand father gave me for another.

My D2 Ka-Bar thorn, my Scagel repro rebuilt by my good friend Dirk. There are just a handful of others, like my old Sportsman Gerber slimlines from the 70s. Just love those old knives.

I couldn't part with my Spyderco Delica or my first Buck 110. These were my first two knives. They are also my work horses.

My Spyderco Ladybug because its so handy & pocket freindly. My Opinel # 6 & #8. My Swede 88 by EKA. Going to get a Barlow shortly.

My Benchmade TSEK 805 and 805s...Those are both keepers.

I have a Morseth circa 1970 that was left to me by an uncle. He collected, but never used his knives in the field. Once it became mine, that Morseth has seen a lot of use. Not just in the woods, but even in the kitchen. It is, without a doubt, the closest thing to a perfect knife I ever expect to come across. Have thought about retireing it, but it does not want to go to the "rocking chair" any more than I do. Lord willing, we'll both die in the woods together and never be found. The money has not been printed to buy it.

A small gentleman folder prototype given to me as a special gift by my friend Bob Terzuola. There are only two in existence - one is in Bob's pocket and the other is in mine. :)

My Morseth "Michigan Hunter" with 3 3/4" blade and stag handle purchased from Harry Morseth in the mid-1970s before the company was sold to A.G. Russell. It has been with me on hunts throught the lower 48, Canada, and Alaska.

I have a Camillus K-bar given to me by my now deceased Mother-in-law. She got it second hand, but the circumstances in her giving it to me make it precious.

The other is a knife I made for my wife with 440-c blade and Amboyna Burl scales. It has a special message I engraved for her on the blade. She, of course, has recently gone on to be with Jesus. :(

Those two knives will never leave my house as long as I'm breathing.

My forged skinner set by Ron Leuschen, Little Hen Knives. Hand forged 01 tool steel with a visible temper line, damascus bolsters, black micarta slabs. It has a little caper that also has a visible temper line. It is just beautiful.

A couple that aren't worth anything but to me.

A SKGF "Dragonforge" Balisong with 4" combo-edge blade and brass handles. Flipped so much these days the handles have quite a bit of sideplay, but it still cleans up nice and locks up tight. This one is important to me, because my dad bought it for me one day without my knowledge and since then I've been a big Bali and knife fan.

A small Imperial fixed blade with a lightweight tin handle with a painted strip pattern...probably 50 or 60 years old. It came from my great grandfather who will be 106 years old this week. He was(now retired of course) a famer in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas..and he carried and used this one in his work.

Those are the knives I absolutely will NOT part with EVER...those are the ones going to my kids without a doubt.

My second Strider SMF-Gift from wife for Father's Day.
Bechmade 630BK w/engraved handle-same as above.

That would have to be my Josh Smith damascus and pearl knife and for a "production" model my Severtech, the purple one.
