Pretty simple question just thought that would be interesting to see what people would choose if they randomly found $750 in your wallet!

More like "knives" for me. There are a lot of really good knives available in the $150-$250 range. For $750 I could pick up several of them. Of course, without knowing what kinds of knives generally interest you or what you'll be using them for, I'd just be shooting in the dark making a recommendation. Could you give me an idea of what you're looking for?

I'd be on the look-out for a ZT 0777 with the Damascus blade. Maybe could pick one up used. :D

How long do you want the blade? What are you going to cut? Do you want toughness or wear resistance? Fixed or folder? Natural or man made handle materials? Flipper or non-flipper? User or safe queen? Thick pry bar or thin slicer? Box cutter or field knife? Dress up knife or dress down knife? Color? Diamond inlays? Gold encrusted spacers? Petrified mammoth penis?

:)

If it could only be spent on a single knife... A used Rockstead Shin or TEI.

Otherwise, I would get some things that have been on my list for a while:
- Cold Steel Large XHP/DLC G10 Espada ($160)
- Zero Tolerance 0452CF ($190)
- Hogue EX-01 Aluminum 4" Tanto Auto ($200)
- Benchmade Vicar ($175)

I would buy a pre-loved Shirogorov 111, ooh and ahhh over it for a few days, weeks, months, and likely (hopefully) flip it for what I paid for it. Other than that, I'd be stumped. Honestly there are no other single knives I don't already have/have had that I know of that I think are worth the price! There are $2K knives that are worth $750 to me but unfortunately there are too many weirdos (in a good way ;^) ) willing to pay the $2K.

Alan Davis or Brian Tighe Custom.

I'd try to contact local collectors getting rid of their stuff and buy it from them.

It's what I always do, anyways.

If this is about what you want, then I'd suggest something from André Thorburn, or (money towards) a Rockstead Higo-X.

If it's about what I would buy, then I'd put that $750 towards a Rockstead Shun.

Just put a downpayment on one that runs about that, Newt Martin Caimen with some custom additions to it as a graduation/Army commissioning gift for my daughter.

I'd have someone build me a custom 10 inch chopper and baldric sheath.
Maybe I'd get put it towards a Bodega,
