What knife for $750?

If I found big money like that, what I bought would probably be in .45ACP. :D

If I found lesser cash, I would probably buy a Bark River Bravo 1.25 or Gunny.

If probably do with the anax, I've lusted over that thing for quite some time now. My most expensive knife I've ever bought has been listed here though! The Valkyrie 2....soooooo perfect.

$750 is not enough for any knife I buy these days...

I think I'd go for an Al Mar SF-10, but they tend to go for more...

Someone suggested a Thorburn. I'd give my Reate and Three River BT100 over to one of those as a first choice.
Thankfully I have a Thorburn, and I will have more.

That's a heck of a lot of money for a knife to me at least. I would want to go for a Centofante Gent's slipjoint or a Rockstead Higo for sure.

If this is about what you want, then I'd suggest something from André Thorburn, or (money towards) a Rockstead Higo-X.

If it's about what I would buy, then I'd put that $750 towards a Rockstead Shun.

Thought one of these would be pretty slick too:

Truthfully, if I found $750 in my wallet, or anywhere else for that matter, I'd take a vacation. Or, more likely, use it towards paying for my honeymoon.

If it were say a gift card to BHQ or Knifeworks, I'd probably get a few production and maybe a mid-tech.

Tony Marfione custom ANAX for sure, super lightweight and the tanto Tony does is just bad-ass I think. The ANAX is a superb value in the custom world made by one of the most well known makers in the business. The standard titanium ones with an stone wash or apocalyptic finish run right at $750, here is my carbon fiber version as a representation (the CF version is more than $750 though)

With my current (anti-modern) mind set it would be some nice custom slip-joint from Todd Davidson - that budget would actually be enough to pay for the knife inclusive import duties :)

Something along this lines:

Hinderer XM-24 and then I would take the extra $155 and go out for a nice steak dinner where I would use my new knife to cut it up!

Pretty simple question just thought that would be interesting to see what people would choose if they randomly found $750 in your wallet!

Hmmm.
That would buy me almost 100 Mora Clippers !

Were I to sell a single knife for that price, to be a fair deal, Would be one of my better halfhorn Samis

Plenty of custom makers would make anything you want for sub $750. Folder or fixed. Check the custom maker exchange for a maker that appeals to you. Then contact them with what you want. There's a LOT of knife to be had for that budget
