What knife have you put off buying?

A lightweight manix and a plain Jane delica with a vg10. I have had other steels (super blue, h1) but not vg10

I constantly droll over a lot of the Bark River models. I own one. It always seems that another knife, or two knives for the price of the Barkie seems to take precedence. I just don't use fixed blades very much and most anything I buy tends to just lie around. Even in the woods, I have to think about taking a fixed blade with me or I just go with my usual SAK or two folders.

I'd like to get a couple of the higher end Spyderco's, but it is not a priority as I have other Spydies to use. Frequently my purchases will be fairly spontaneous.

Some day, I'll probably buy a Sebenza. Have handled them enough times, but the price keeps me from taking the last step.

I've wanted an Al Mar SERE 2000 for some time. Great knife and I like the blade design.

Just wish the blade were slightly longer, even a quarter-inch. For this reason I've been holding out for an older SERE Attack model.

Even if I never decide to buy one it's a fine knife.

I have a few such knives that never made my short list, and it's not really an issue of expense - I just have not actively sought them yet. Other things keep peaking my interest...

- Kershaw Shallot, plain SS handles and Damascus.

The latest AG Russell catalog shows the "Dozier Combat Folder" on the front cover. This knife is bigger than I ever carry, but it is really tugging at me to buy. I don't even like metal scales; this one is titanium. This kind of thing is what keeps me from buying Bark River knives mentioned in my last post in this thread. Maybe I'll get lucky if I order it and find out it's sold out.

ESEE Junglas, i really like it, but something always comes up that occupies the money.

Too many...

Anything expensive, the >$100 the further back I push it.

A Boye Winged Prophet, Wilson Combat RRXL, Arno Bernard, and BRK most specifically are all atop my list.
(I always wind up with 3 or 4 cheaper Knives, or another Blur or 2, whenever I start trying to save up for one of the more expensive ones that i got my eye on).

One of nick wheelers camp knives / bowies. Also want a fiddleback bushfinger. But life is always in the way.....

Been wanting to try an Emerson CQC-7 and Jungle Commander. I didn't really enjoy previous emersons that I have owned
so I don't really have high hopes that I will fall in love with either of these, but for some reason every month or so I find myself
researching them again.

I also expect to grab a Chris Reeve Seb 25 in carbon fiber some day but things...

BRKT Bravo-1.5. I've got 6 or 7 Bravo-1's that do a heck of a job... so do I really need the extra weight? Dunno...

Sebenza. I keep kicking the can down the road. I buy other knives, but just can't pull the trigger on it.

Oddly a Svord Peasant, I keep meaning to try one but never actually bought one.

Also the GEC Huckleberry boys knife, that one I'll probably pick up next pay check though.

Cold Steel Hold Out 3. A "stabby" type sub 3 inch blade, with a fine point, that didn't seem particularly useful for much else to me. But I liked it aesthetically.

I finally picked one up recently and am happy I was dead wrong about it. It is actually a great little slicer, and only 2.5 ounces.

There is so much I don't like about that knife, and yet it calls to me. I don't like slab scales, I don't like metal scales, I don't like titanium framelocks, I want the grind to be higher up and yet I have a sneaking suspicion that one is going to end up in my pocket when I'm not paying enough attention to my credit card.
