What knife is in your PSK?

I put a Vic Farmer in my GFs hiking belt pouch PSK (mainly for the saw and knife). She doesn't edc a blade so even if she doesn't strap her mora on too, at least she has the farmer. I believe it's around 3.5" closed if you don't mind a little over 3"....

I don't have anything in my own hiking psk aside from a classic that I put in there as an afterthought. I usually have both my FB and my Vic OHT on my belt when hiking. In my edc backpack I carry a Mora 510 and a little PSK pouch with a Vic Rucksack in it. I always have an EDC with me though, so the rucksack is mostly there for the saw and other tools.

You have several ideas and several good ones have been posted. There is a small Aitor (company name may have changed) fixed blade that David Alloway used to use as a kit knife. The CRKT Dogfish, is another small fixed blade.

The previously mentioned Farmer can be had in your price range, and would be a terrific selection, but at 93mm is longer than the mentioned 3 inches. It is in the bottom of the below picture. Above that is an 84 mm Lumberjack which is about .3 of an inch over the size, but does fit in a very small space and is extremely thin. It is/was about $35 if you can find one in the USA.

Sorry, the following is totally out of the price range you mentioned, but I had it and put it in my kit. ;) In fact scarcity of the Umfaan has driven the price up so far I don't know I would carry it in my kit even though I have it.

It was in my PSK kit though. I switched it out with a small Cold Steel folder, a choice similar to the small Spyderco folders mentioned. I wanted to be able to occasionally carry the Umfaan....when I have a really secure pocket.
