What knife is most user friendly for you and fast at opening and closing?

For ease of pulling out of my pocket, opening, using, closing, and putting back in the pocket, Microtech OTFs are the easiest for me. No muss, no fuss, just easy.

After automatics come most of my flippers.

After flippers come the G&G Hawk RAZR and the Paramilitary 2.

Thats a tough one, probably the Delica 4, with my Tasman salt close behind because its kydex blocks a bit too much of the handle right now. After enough repeated use things start to get quick, at least thats the case for me with the Delica.

Honestly, the fastest opening and easiest to use knife I have the the Spyderco Tenacious. I own a great many spydies, kershaw's and Bucks. But of my manual openers the Tenacious has them beat, that is exepting my Kershaw assisted openers.

The Kershaw AO's are not as easy to close though.

The most user friendly knife I have ever owned is the Spyderco Military. The enlarged Hole allows for lightning fast deployment via Spydie drop or just regular flicking if not in a hurry. The larger cutout for the nested linerlock also allows for it to be closed and put away just as fast for me as well.

BTW, carrying this Spyder....and only this Spyder.....for over three years helps greatly in making its' use second nature to me. :D

My Spydie Gayle Bradley is probably the easiest, fastest and most flickable knife I have. Way fast and easy.

Hinderer XM-18 flipper is very fast in deployment and closes one handed. A real dream knife - it's always exeeding my expectations daily.

For me, it's probably the Spyderco Manix 2.

Really couldn't be simpler or smoother - fingers never have to be placed in the path of the blade while closing (unlike liner or frame locks), it can be opened and then closed again all in a fraction of a second (without even having to shift the position of the hand), and the addition of a zip-tie gives it all the benefits of a wave opener.

Probably my Sage1. The tip up carry, spyder hole and super smooth liner lock make it quick and easy to deploy. The Military isn't bad either but just a tad behind.

Of all my folders, the one that is easiest to open and close, with great ergonomics, is my Spyderco Para.

I'd have to say my Manix 2, Kershaw Zings, Zt0200, and Minigrip...

To me they're all as smooth as silk opening, although just the manix and minigrip I can close one-handed..

Opening and closing? Benchmade AXIS lock (non-assisted). Personally I would say it's a tie with a D/A OTF auto for speed an ease, but my thumb is used to them; others aren't and struggle with them.
