What knife is most user friendly for you and fast at opening and closing?

I love the utility of the Para, but just can't get used to that compression lock. Sal, if you read this thread, please release a Para with a liner lock!

The only folder I flip open is a balisong, the Benchmade Charles Marlowe model.

everyone's gonna hate me but my Gerber Torch II designed by R. Hinderer. i used that thing HARD in a lawn care shop for 2 years before the frame lock cracked. for the money i honestly dont think you can get a better folder.

I would have to go with the Kershaw RAM. i can quickly open and close that knife.

I also enjoy BMs Axis Lock and Spyderco's BB lock. i can easily open and close those quickly and it keeps my fingers out of the way.

I also like how quickly i can close button locks, specifically my Houge EX-01. its not a fast deploying knife, but i am a huge fan of button locks for quickly and easily closing blades. i think the perfect combo would be to have an IKBS flipper button lock-or something similar. as far as i know, no production knives offer this combination. i only know of custom Brian Tighe and G&G Hawk knives that can offer my ideal combination.

I must have gotten a good mini-grip because mine has no blade play and will just hang loosely from the pivot and swing back and forth. It's the fastest opening non-assist folder I own. I love being able to open and close it with one hand and no change to my grip. It's a great knife in my opinion.

Anything Axis.

Although pivot tension adjustment can be hit or miss depending on the model.

805 TSEK is my current favorite.

I typically stay out of these threads but I have to say as far as opening, if you have never used a knife with a wave feature, you do not know what fast is. There is no way anything can beat it. This is also dependent upon the pants you are wearing and your ability to do it right. Neither of which are difficult to master. Personally my Hest Folder is the fastest I have.

I don't own any waved knives as I have never really felt the need for one, but the fastest opener I have is probably a tie between my Para 2 and my Endura 4.

Id have to say the Kershaw Ram is the easiest for me with the Delica 4 in close second(I close it on my thigh and it just slips in my pocket quite easily). I agree the BM axis knives are quite easily to open and close, but im just not a big fan of the axis lock(I know im crazy right?)

Gonna have to go with the axis lock as well. However I firmly believe that whatever knife that feels good in your hand can be just as good. Right now I'm EDC'ing a kershaw skyline. I can whip that thing out and close it like no ones business. Just works for me.
