What knife made you say "I don't really need any more"?

Wouldn't we all love to see that day ! LOL Unfortunatly it never comes for most collectors of sharp things . Even when you have all the bases covered , it's the thrill of the hunt , the anticipation , the search for that "perfect" knife . I feel I'm getting close , but time will tell ;).

HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS !

Honestly a $10-12 Mora...oh I have bought other knives since, but really none were needed.

I have always liked knives, hatchets etc...and have been buying for 20+ yrs, but I only really "need" maybe 5-10% of the blades I have. I am far from a collector, don't even want to be one. I do have some blades that have sentimental meaning that are not used just kept, and a few that were bought when I thought different than today...in other words I would not get them now if I could do it over.

Today I seek better versions of the ones which have proven themselves to me, and which I really carry and use. Not just more cool knives that do nothing but sit in a box.

None, i have the sickness. I need a bigger Rubber Maid container to put em all in. This year: Bk15, 16, 17, Machax & Condor Locknessmuk knife, Warlock machete, Pack Golock knife & maybe an ESSE.

Not that it makes any difference (since I still acquire more), but my Spyderco Delica 4 FFG makes it really hard for me to justify needing anything else unless I'm in the woods.

Really? I would think that owning one would inevitably lead to the desire to own Andrew Demko's AD-10.

Why mess with success?

I know that Andrew makes a heck of a knife, but the lawman is perfect for me. Cost vs awesomeness and lock strength and blade geometry is perfect for me. I prefer a tougher steel anyway since I generally tend to chip the heck out of anything "super" which makes it a lot harder to sharpen.

The steel is out of this world. The ergos are as perfect as a thin, flat sectioned folder could be. The blade is large enough for most tasks, yet the ergos make it easy to do fine, detail work. The lockup is extremely reassuring. Looks fantastic, feels fantastic, disappears clipped in my wasteband, etc... Haven't bought a modern folder since I got this one.

The Case Swayback Jack with the chrome vanadium blades and chestnut bone scales. I bought one and it immediately became my number one choice for EDC, eventually leading me to sell off the rest of my collection. The itch came back recently, though, so nothing permanent yet.

I've Never Really "Needed" Anymore Knives.
But I Have:
Spyderco Para2
Benchmade Ritter Grip
Benchmade Grip 550HG
Spyderco Delica 4
Spyderco UKPK
Spyderco Tenacious
Spyderco Grasshopper
SOG Twitch XL
Buck 179 Hilo
CRKT Notorious
Meyerco Catch Dog
Byrd Meadowlark 2
A Few Traditionals
And Many SAK's
Do I Need More Than One Folder? No. Do I Need More Than One Traditional? No, I Don't Really Even Need One. Do I Need More Than One SAK? Nope. Do I Have More Than One? Yes. I Also Have More Than One Flashlight. More Than One Bag. More Than One Lighter. More Than One Pair Of Shoes. More Than One Dog.
I Don't NEED More Than ONE Of Anything, But I Own More Than One Of Everything.
Why?
Hell If I Know.
I Like Variety I Guess.
