What knife to get under 40usd/eur?

For fixed I’d get an Esee Izula. The Drop Forged Hunter is a great knife but the Esee is more discreet and is bomb proof.

The very first knife I’d get is a Victorinox Pioneer X. It has all the tools you really need and none you don’t.

Izula is unfortunatley well outside of his budget (at least in Europe, here it costs over 100€).
I had my eye on it too, but the price prevailed...

Even the Drop Forged Hunter could be out of 40€ budget since I paid around 45€ for mine I think.

If you like the Izula, what does a BK14 Eskabar cost where you are?
 
I'd look at the Kershaw Emersons, specifically, the CQC 4KXL. I has held up to obscene abuse. Throwing, spine chopping (I cut about three inches into particle board with the spine. Probably 20-30 or more whacks. The lock held.) I ended up breaking the tip prying into some wood. Digging, I suppose. I reprofiled it into a wharncliffe and it makes a great all around tool. Easy to sharpen and takes a great edge. Holds it well for everyday tasks. The wave feature also gives you a self defense options that other folders lack.

At knifeworks.com the Izulas are only $46. The Drop Forged Hunters are only $36.

It costs around 60€, then add another 10€ for shipping, and you have exactly 71€ total.

Plus you have to wait for it.

I remember that I first ordered Manly Patriot online, it was around 38€ and together with shipping it was under 50€.
But they messed up the adress on the delivery (despite the fact I didn't give them wrong adress) and wanted to charge me for shipping again when first delivery failed.
I opted for a refund instead, got fed up by everything and ended up going to Cold Steel distributor store and bought Drop Forged Hunter.
