What Knife would you like to see made?

I love the finn bear, It may be the only stainless knife I'm in love with as far as design and performance.

I've got one and like it too. The initial attraction to me was it is an el cheapo rip-off of the Tapio Wirkkala design marketed by Hackman that itself wasn't too expensive back in the seventies, but which fetch a pretty penny these days. Dang, the thing cuts as well!

How about less earth tones and coatings and more satin blades and bright orange or yellow handles. I hate dropping a knife and not being able to find it. If I don't want someone or something to see it, I'l put it in a bag or under a coat.

+1 million!

I don't need tacti-cool coatings to blend in with my surroundings. I'm camping, not infiltrating an enemy base. I especially don't need ultra-textured coatings, where the texturing is added to "reduce glare" and decreases cutting performance for the sake of pandering to mall ninjas or collectors.

Orange handles are awesome, and lately I've been taking to adding orange paracord lanyards to handles, just to make knives more visible in case they are accidentally dropped.

Well, it isn't very wildernessy, but I want to see this knife I designed be created. And guess what? It will be coming sometime around June!

Not all coatings are, but some of them definitely have a mall ninja slant to them.

A simple coating meant to prevent rust is fine - ridiculous camo patterns and stuff are just silly, unless it's a collector knife that you are buying solely because it looks good on a wall or in your safe.

that Tapio Wirkkala knife is gorgeous!
I agree. Wirkkala was a very prolific designer with a diverse body of work. Interesting how a man who wasn't a really knife maker could nail the design so spot on, both in terms of aesthetics and function.

Really like that one NoahL! Like a cross between a santoku and a facon!

I want a folder like the Zero Tolerance 350 with a Kephart style or just spearpoint type (no recurve) blade.

I would like to see something with a Mora shape, in thicker stock, with bright-orange stained wood scales. The sheath would be leather and have a firesteel loop, a nice big pouch, and plenty of carry options.

If you make such a knife, I will pay you $200 for it. :D

Id like to see a flat ground walter brend model 2 in A2 steel
