  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What knife would you like to see next from CPK?

Yes exactly! I seem to remember Lorien Lorien saying something about designing at least a puukko at some point
need to get that khukuri going!

I am entering a phase in life where I'll be able to spend some solid time getting bushcrafty. Maybe by the time I've come up with a good design, my pal Nathan will have cleared through enough projects that we can achieve synchronicity

Same here. We’ll have a small farm in short time. It’s under construction now. The Basic 5 Field Knife I received today will be put to good use batoning and making wood shavings. But a Kukri would be splendid for bushwhacking in the summer months and trimming branches for kindling anytime.

EDC 4 fixed blade?
Like a well worn jigged bone on a slip joint, it becomes “your knife” when you actually carry one in your pocket everywhere you go every day. Want to see your product carried and used?
Like the name says, EDC man.
No higher compliment can be paid to the maker than to have someone get up every morning and put that blade in their pocket knowing it will be used for the purpose you put all the thought and labor into building it for.

I like A lot of what you say.......

You made multiple versions of choppers, shivs, single-edged fighters, double-edged fighters, utility fighters, field knives, boot knives, kitchen knives, EDCs, swords, katanas, Kepharts, etc. All beautiful and exceptionally functional. BUT, no one would expect you to make a PUUKKO - in unmatched delta 3v and MagnaCut with a full tang handle. The Carothers Puukko - it would be an instant hit, a runaway best seller!
