#notnathanWould love to see the HDFK come back. I have never found a blade that I like better. It has been the standard to me. Especially in Delta 3V. I like the SDFK, but the HDFK takes the cake. It is what drew me to the Carothers Knife following. It is unbelievable. Is there any plans to put this blade back out in the future?
For sure!#notnathan
I think what was said is that it's a pretty expensive knife to make and so the cost would go up significantly.
My personal opinion is there wouldn't be any issues selling them at $1000 a pop because that's what we're seeing on the secondary market anyway.
Right there with you! A nice run of the Heavy Duty FK would work for me!6" "survival " style knife based off the light chopper , kind of a mix between the field knife / light chopper .
yes! This or a D3v breaking knife....and I am dead serious when I say this. D3v Nail Clippers.MagnaCut fillet knife or Bird & Trout would be nice.
isnt that sort of the skinner design?A Bird & Trout knife-slender, 3 3/4-4" blade, small integral guard, thumb rest with slight & smooth jimping on the Signature model. Light weight, but strongly built.
Needs to be a good, all around utility knife in camp-meal prep, breasting out birds, cleaning fish, cheese and sausage cutting, etc.. At home it could serve as both a pairing and a steak knife.
YESSSS BREAKING KNIFE!!!!!!!!!!yes! This or a D3v breaking knife....and I am dead serious when I say this. D3v Nail Clippers.
