I'd have liked thinner myself, maybe .09" or something but keep in mind cutting geometry is the same so it won't be worse.

This sounds good. Maybe a modified wharnscliffe? Just an ever so slight belly to the blade.EDC wharnscliffe. A straight tradesperson tool uncompromised by adaptations to camping, woodsperson and war zone utility usage.
Perhaps a dedicated CPK punch tool to knock out those pesky fastener barrels. Might as well include a CPK hex driver to form a maintenance kit.
