What knife would you like to see next from CPK?

I need a 10 inch Dagger:thumbsup::p

Woody, if I remember correctly, you are one of Nathan's "First Customers"-Might have more"meaning" if you asked him:p If you don't mind could you also ask him about the "NinJo" Assassin (Knife or Death) project also;):eek:
I have no problem asking Nathan for the possibility of a pre-order dagger and the Knife or Death project, but he seems to have booked the next couple of years with finishing the HDFK pre-order, the FK2 project, the DEK1 pre-order:rolleyes:, taking care of Jo and Sadie and whatever little twists life throws at him.:mad: I guess it’s time to resort to a bribe?:eek: I’ve got a few bucks after the UF’er pre-order how about you? Now I have to figure out how to live that long?:rolleyes:

Not just one of the first, but THE FIRST as a matter of record here on Blade Forums ;)
I don’t believe I was the First just one of the many first customers back in the days when gas was 25 cents and Nathan was selling skinners that he would give you the option of thin grind or regular grind.:) Jo would make the sheaths for them and the few that he would offer would last a couple of days.:rolleyes: Those sure were the days.;):)

Martin, as stated and as a matter of record here omg Blade Forums: You were the First ever person to post the proverbial, "I'll take it" on Nathan's first ever FS thread. I'm sure that there were quite a few eyeballing his then Skinner, but your place in what turned out to be CPK history is as stated. Wear it with pride and glory :)

And I still have one of the two skinners, the thin ground one. Justin has the other regular ground and the sheath Jo made for it. What really amazes me is that through searches one can find most of the unusual Carothers out in the wild. A lot of cool history on heat treat, grinds and philosophy that the Evil Genius puts into his creations.

Some of the original Blade Forum content has been reshuffled and some even lost ever since the migration to the new servers. No doubt that Nathan had some very very early customers and followers some of whom are no longer active members, but you've stuck around ever since how this whole thing had started.

BTW that Skinner which you passed on is no longer where you think it is at but I can assure you that it is in very good hands elsewhere.There may even be a more recent photo of it laid out on a table ;)

Mat, if you could post a picture of that I would love to see it, I don’t have the patience to search through all of the posts.:oops::eek: Maybe you could throw in some pictures of that beautiful “c” grade just for the heck of it. Thank you Sir, it really is great that the group we have here is so helpful.

I would, but the last time when I posted the photo of that table spread without asking its rightful owner first, despite the fact that the content is now a public domain content having been posted in here already without any restrictions, seemed to me that its new owner was not too thrilled.
