What knives do you hope 2018 will bring?

Hopefully I will get atleast one of my grail knives. I want to make it happen that I get atleast one of them this year.

I need an Emerson Hd7 framelock, and a Gareth Bull front flipper of some sort. (Preferably Shamwari or Warlock, Miura would be satisfactory)

Then there is my true true grail That rare knives that cost way too much and just tortures you. The longer you don’t have them the prices just seem to go up and up. I’m talking a real Bagwell Bowie. I have a hard time telling myself I wouldn’t kill someone to get one of them!

2018 for me will most likely bring one of these at some point:

Another CRK variant guaranteed- ready to buy now but can’t decide which
Koenig Arius maybe - if one ever pops up I like for under $550
Hinderer - if I can find one I like. This is looking more unlikely as the longer I look the less I like.
ZT - depends what the new line up is. Fingers crossed more sub 3.5 inch come out
Holt Bladeworks - they are opening their books for more orders end of January. Shiro quality made in USofA.
And lastly, I am gonna finally break down and buy my first fixed blade. Ha, who am I kidding- I would never be able to decide.

I hope that Spyderco puts out a CPM 3V military. Ide love it in full peel ply CF or peel ply CF/Ti framelock.

As for my purchases... the carbon fiber S90V Para 3 is my only planned purchase

My final wish is that Survive! Knives gets their S on track and starts keeping up with demand...

What I'm wishing for in 2018 :
- A new Ti Military with a machined handle (to replace the Fluted Ti).
- For Spyderco to make more stone washed blades.
- A Yo2 "XL" w/ Ti frame lock.
- ZT to make more non-flippers
- CRK to make an "overbuilt" folder.

What I realistically would like to purchase in 2018 :
- A brand new Sebenza. I've narrowed it down to two. I pull the trigger today. Or tomorrow.
- Shaman sprint. I'd like a high end stainless steel such as M390 , 204P , S90V , Elmax. With CF (or marbled CF) or Titanium.

My list of likely purchases this year:
- Tupper knife & Tool custom JEN (already ordered)
- Spyderco Respect (will be released 14th this year according to their list)
- some type of Bali, likely custom (gonna take lots of research as it's a new desire)
- Trey Preslar fixed blade similar to pic

I'll cast another vote for a Spyderco Shaman sprint. I'd love to purchase one in M4 with green or brown scales.

I've been trying to buy a Peter Kohler Honey Badger in Desert Ironwood for about a year but I'm always a nano second to slow, maybe 2018 will be my lucky year.

To the OP, your dream knife is available now. The Spyderco PM2 with 52100 steel and carbon fiber scales.

Whoa. That was easy.

OK, guys, what else do you want me to wish for? I might have a streak going here.
Are you going to try one out? I was tempted, but I ended up getting the M390 from DLT.

I take back my desire for a Koenig Arius. Just checked weight and 5 1/2 oz is too much for me. No more over 5 oz purchases in my life. Maybe they will come out with a 3 inch one someday. Oh well, just saved me $500.

Cold Steel 3 Max. Although I would take a 3.5 Max, maybe.

The ESEE folding Izula. But, yeah.

Kizer's version of the Laconico Blast. I'll never be able to touch a custom Laconico, so that's the next best thing.

More Vox/CRKT collaborations. Less "field strip technology".
