Haven't bought any knives yet, but on some of the reasent threads I read about the opinel's and they seemed like good knives. Did a quick google on them, and as soon as I saw a picture of them, I discovered that I had already bought an Opinel nr.12 about 12-14 yrs ago!
It was still lying in my bag-o-knives and had never been used.
So I took it out, and for the last month I've been useing it for just about everything.
It's a little big for a folder, but it's a really great knife!

I didnt start REALLY looking into good knives much until I got to this site. And since then its been all down hill. Now I had been looking since before I registered so I started buying quality before the site but didnt know the spectrum of good knives until I got here and started probing.

Both of those were about three years ago because of reviews on this forum. I have not gotten around to reviewing them on my website but they are awesome knives. No longer available due to the looting that went on at Camillus.

I'm looking at the RATs when I get squared away, bill-wise.

Another thing is the Ron Hood videos I obtained some time ago now, he made a great case for the SAK Hunter so I picked one up to replace my rather large SAK-2-Wide-2-B-Comfortable. (Swiss Champ) :D

All my Mora knives, Rat 7, and SAK OHT. So far anyway. Although I'm itching to buy more.
 
Mora 521, and after being pointed to the HI forum from WSS I picked up a Baby BAS from there. I also was reminded of how much I had liked an Opinel that I had several years ago but my ex took it (and a few other things) with her when she moved out. :mad: So I bought a new one of those. Oh, and my Fiskars hatchet.

Sog Pentagon. Very usefull and fun knife. Already have many others but this stands out as forum inspired. I would like to get a Busse at some stage. Wife is getting tense with all my toys.

I would best say that the forums is like watching surfing. You see some greats and you definitely see the poor performers, wipe outs and brags.

I'm really happy I looked into the Fallknivens. At first I dismissed them purely based on looks. After reading some reviews I learned what great knives they are.
