What knives have you "TRIED" to like but just "COULDENT"??

BM Mini and regular Grips for the cheap feeling handles. Love the lock and the blade shape though.
All metal frame-locks - Sebbies, Sage 2. If there are inlays or G-10 slabs on the other side, they're ok.
Spyderco Persian 2 - Don't like the lock bar that has to go below the cut-out. It's one of the few that I sent back.
Spyderco Gayle Bradley - Great on paper, but something about the shape I just can't get over.
Kershaw Leek - I'm over assisted openers now. :)
Ontario RAT-1 - Too slippery in hand.

Any large Spyderco I've ever tried. They just don't feel right in my hand. Great knives, fit and finish, well made, etc. But I can't use them.

CRKT Carson M4-02S - too fat and the thumbstuds stick out too far.
Any neck knife - too inconvienient to get to and the cord/chain bothers my neck.

Kershaw Scallion (actually only bought it to check out AO's, once the novelty wore out I gifted it).

Benchmade Mini Grip (Don't like the feel of the Valox handles).

Kershaw Skyline

Same boat here. Had one for a few months and tried using it exclusively. It just didn't feel right in my hands and the real downside was when I tried to sharpen it. That flipper sure does get in the way. Those thumb studs do more to keep the blade from hitting the spacers than helping to open the knife.

I really want to like the Spyderco Native. I love the ergonomics, light weight and steel choice, but the damned swedge kills the whole package for me. I can't get over it no matter how hard I try. At least the Native 5 will have a much smaller, and in my opinion, more tasteful swedge.

A couple of Randalls - the #1, #15 and the outdoorsman (don't remember the number) - disliked the handles on these & got rid of them.

Strangely the Benchmade 755. When I first bought the knife I LOVED it, and now, not so much. I now have more of an aversion towards it. I just REALLY don't like the tip down carry.

T-MAG. Beautifully constructed, flawless carbon fiber and the smoothest knife on the planet! Unfortunately the magnet lock idea was a dismal failure.

Living in the UK I was really hoping to like the Syderco UKPK, but no, just couldn't take to it. Then I tried the Spydie Kiwi, but again no go.

Opinel's are "classics", but can't warm to them either!

The other one I'm battling with is the Fixed blade HEST....the jury's out at the mo' with that one.

Good thread, it's funny how you can buy a knife and it looks great, feels good in the hand, but after a while...the honeymoon is over; then you have to go out and buy a new one!!!

All assisted-openers. Just don't like 'em! Not even sure why. The concept makes perfect sense, but whenever I've handled one, I think, "Not for me."

I just bought a Kershaw Packrat. I was realy excited and when it came in the mail, I unpacked it, fondled it for a minute, then put it back in its box. It is now for sale. I have a
Zing ,JYD2 and a Leek, and I like them all, especially the Zing and the JYD2, so I have nothing against Kershaw. It was just something about the Packrat. I also have a Lone Wolf Diablo that I have tried to like for several years. No luck.
