What knives were so good you bought a duplicate?

I'm amazed at the quality of my new ZT 620CF. It also suits my needs, with blade type, weight, size, ergos, cosmetics etc, and I'm a fan of the Emerson Wave opener.

I'm seriously considering grabbing a second one! I have two boys; I don't want to be without this one; I could find enough reasons to buy a backup.

What knives have you found so compelling that you had to buy another? What did you do to talk yourself into or out of duplicating?

I have found Victorinox and Moras to be so cheap and useful I have duplicates of several models. I like to have spares in my boat, truck, and hunting pack.

I never bought a dupe but I've considered it. The two fixed blades I'd hate to lose most due to sentimental value are still easily replaceble at reasonable prices and I've commented on them here often....so no sweat replacing them.

But the folders I'd like to own dupes of are a Grayman Dua for sure (I know that soon they'll make some change in it to 'make it better.' :heart-borken: ) and probably my original Masters of Defense Trident Ltd. Edition. I wish I had another Benchmade Panther too just because one's been around the house for so long; it's like the elderly dog who still has bright eyes and hearing.

And I guess I'd take a dupe Sebenza just for resale.
 
The only duplicate I have ever bought was a GEC bullnose in natural micarta. I love the bullnose and natural canvas is my favorite handle material. Since it was a limited run I had to get two, especially for the price!
 
Oh well ... I have several SAKs of the same type. Buck 110, Buck 112 and a GEC #66 Serpentine Jack & 73.

And also some Delicas....

SAKs, of course. I have several Griptilians. Two Kizlyar Supreme Biker-Zs (D2 and 440C). Two Benchmade dive knives. Two ZT0561s. There are others I've bought because I forgot I already owned one.
