What knives were so good you bought a duplicate?

i bought three spyderco chinook 3s, i knew they wouldnt be around for long and they are amazing knives. i also have two of the first version chinooks and one of the second version.

i also have three spyderco massad ayoob knives and would have bought more if i had the funds at the time.

KC4006 - Parang Jungle Knife by Citadel. Long knives from Indonesia. Looks similar to a Philippine bolo and machete.

I do it. No clue why. When they make different variations or different colors I just want them.

Knives I used to have multiples but passed on:

Pm2
Millie
Manix

Knives I have multiples now:

Strider smf (found an American flag one in s110v and had to have it)
Crk Sebenza (kinda needed a plain one, tanto and a cf)

I think I'll trim that down. I don't mind having a back up in case something bad happens to the one I'm carrying but if it's not getting carried these days then it's on it's way out the door
 
Spyderco Delica 4. I think my total is 5 now. I will eventually own all the FFG colors.
BM MiniGrip. 3 as of now.
 
Paramilitary 2. Kinda. I got one after hearing how amazing it is, and was very satisfied with some aspects of the knife but very disappointed with one aspect (sticky lock.) I sent the knife into Spyderco, they said they fixed it. The problem wasn't fixed though, so I bought another hoping that "this one will be different." It wasn't. And yes, I did buy a third after Spyderco repeatedly "fixed" the knife.

My experience with the Paramilitary 2 put me off folders. Now I only use fixed blades and Opinels, although I may get a Sebenza.

So I guess I thought the knife would be great because everyone else said it was. Either I have really bad luck or there's something I'm doing wrong.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Benchmade Griptilian. I bought the second because I had lost the first. Then the original turned up in the parking lot where I had lost it, before its replacement arrived. I gave the second one to my son-in-law.

Got two ZT0620 / BW, one for a user and one to add some custom parts. Sadly the user was lost after a couple of months of heavy use...:(

Actually noticed the *limited* ELMAX blurs disappearing; "discontinued" or "this product is no longer available" on more and more reputable sites, so I picked 2 more up before I can't anymore for under msrp.

So that's 10 blurs now (and counting).
 
I have two ZT0770's - I think that they are that good.

I am also trying to duplicate my Fiddleback Forge KE Bushie...
