What Knocks Your CRK Out of Your Pocket?

When I wear dress pants, I think the CRK looks tacky hanging on my pocket, or any knife with a pocket clip to be honest. If that's the case I swap out a slipjoint in its place.

I've kept only a few special CRK's, and now rotate through some other quality pieces

like one of these:

Or maybe a ZT. Their game has really been on lately:

Lately my Small 21 has been in a daily rotation with this Mini Bodega.

It's quite different from the Sebenza, both are good though.

Aside from a couple SAKs, I currently only have two other folders at this point. One is a ZT0350 that lives in my bunkers at work, while the other is a Benchmade 555-1 that would be my other off duty knife.

Benchmade 940-01 gives my large 21 carbon fiber a lot of competition. They are both really nice knives, so it's hard to choose between the two.

My favs apart from the 21Large are the XM18 spanto and PM2s. Untortunately when it comes to weight and size, imo the 21L wins. Thats the reason its getting most of my pocket time. PM2 is no 2 though.

I carry William Henry knives (B10 or B30) almost exclusively at work. After work and on weekends I carry mainly a CRK 25.

Occasionally when I am in a more outdoor environment I will carry one of my 2 Shirogorov's. Beast of a knife. I have the 95t and an orange scaled Tarragon with their ripoff of the Benchmade axis lock, blade on that one is 440c, the other M390. Night and day! The Taragon attracted me for what I consider its beautiful lines. Very classic. Could have been made by the Swiss.

Got my first Laguiole knife and as it is new, it certainly kicks out my CRK :-) ...... but for sure not permanently. I like it a lot and it may not be my last Laguiole. Just starting to explore this knife type and its french manufacturers a bit. Some of them are making knives at custom level, in the range of 1.000, 2.000 dollars and up. This one is quite basic, made by a knifemaker named Philippe Voissiere and costs about 250 dollars. A very traditional slipjoint knife, perfect for picnic.

I have two Shirogorovs 95T's that are awesome and get pocket time.

also a custom Emerson when I go on trips to third world counties for protection.

The only thing that seems to get me to carry anything besides my small Insingo is my Olamic Wayfarer 247.

A standard D2 B 710 with custom scales bumps my CRKs during the weekend simply because it holds an edge so much better without a touch-up. While I do love all of my multiple CRKs, Benchmade's D2 steel holds an edge so much longer than my Insingo is used only during the week for light use.

WOW! I will have to investigate this maker. (And as always, excellent pictures!)

I was carrying traditionals for awhile (gec). I'm back to crk rotating a couple of smalls, last few days I've had my carbon fiber inlay. Really enjoying them

I had two of those D2 710's and both rusted right out of my pocket. Great knife for the price point just the D2 rusts with me where I live (I wish Benchmade made them with another steel at similar price! ). I wear shorts in the summer time and sweat makes the knife damp.

Who made your scales for it?
