Say.. what do you know about the history of the Schrade Barlow that you and have buddy?

The glitter gold is growing on me. I wanted an Osage but man... it’s rustic. Would go really well on one of the Ancient Barlows with their rougher bolster finish. Kind of a new world interpretation of a barebones mid 19th century work knife. The fine polish and finish of the TC bolsters looks right at home with groovy acrylic though.

Agree - that saw cut really spices up the Osage IMO.

I’m a big fan of acrylics, so was pleased when I received the Case Tribal Lock in gold stardust kirinite for Christmas. When the glitter gold TC was announced I pretty much had to try and get one. Glad I was able to pick one up, not disappointed with these unique runs.

It looks so good! The pocket wear is going to really bring out the contrast when it rubs more orange out of the knife. Going to age really nicely IMO. I am in a serious pickle - do I trade my gold for an osage?

Got Both Glitters.. 1 was from a Jason Hamre.. GPKnives Employee.. threw a 300 bid on it and with 3 days to go, suddenly got a notification saying congrats on winning this Barlow at 225... would I like to pay??! Doe's a dog sniff anothers rear end?

Great picture. I wonder why GEC made the long pull go farther back towards the pivot compared to the older barlows.

Thinking its because GEC switch to the new CNC Equipment in 2018, hence the Clip Blades on the Hucky Boys 15s.. these were originally for the new 4 Pin Ancient TC15s!

I'd have gone for a rose gold too, but glitter gold was the first that popped up and I just barely grabbed it. Rose was done and clocked out by the time I got finished with my glitter checkout.

I can't remember, did anyone post the numbers of these three (glitters and osage) that were made or sent out? They are flying away real quick! But that's not really that unusual anymore, I guess.
