What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Is the Cripple Creek a recover? I’ve never seen a jigged bone CC barlow before.

Yeah, I was wondering that too. I have both of those, but my covers ain't as purdy as OEs.

Edit: My Cripple Creek is a double blade, so technically not the same model.

Most of my Barlows are saw cut, because when I was a kid back in the 50s, the only Barlows available were the "saw cut" delrin kind that we could get at the hardware or feed store for about $3 or 4. So I just have it in my head that Barlows should have saw cut covers.:)

Dad had one of the Delrin covered Barlows , but the only ones that I saw for sale were the Plastic Shell model . Dad eventually lost his and he bought a Plastic Shell model and I now have it .
