I agree. As a kid back in the 50's, I don't remember seeing any other kind. I guess that's why I prefer saw cut Barlows now.

For your pleasure, the bone one on top started it all for me, the bottom one is delrin and made between ‘59/60 to 1964.
I do enjoy both variants !!
