Yeah right - wicked cool . Thanks John.

A Stag Stag Barlow!
I was following Sarah’s work in progress. Was that destined for you all along, or were you able to sweet talk someone out of it?

I found the knife first but it was being sold as new, with scratches on the bolsters. Those are big bolsters and though I liked the knife I wasn't too keen on needing to sand and buff brand new bolsters no matter the deal on the knife. SAME TIME Sarah started showing her work. Watched a few of her WIP posts and realized that here was no typical geometric pattern engraver.

She mentioned that she had a bit of time between one job and the push that would come after blade - also had said that she was only intending to work for knifemakers for the time being. Still - I had the Barlow with scratched bolsters in my sights and realized that those were pretty big canvases, as these bolsters things go. I reached out to Sarah - my pm title was - I just have to ask? Acknowledged that she did not prefer to take on custom work for individuals but as she had some time off and I had this big "canvas" custom and an idea that she could create an artistic Stag scene I just had to ask. After some consideration she said yes. I bought the knife, asked to have it shipped to her. And here we have it. 👍 She was wonderful to collaborate with and as we can all see - she is an exceptional talent. So yes, this was destined for me all along. :)
