What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

There were so many reproduced Remington Barlows, but I think this one is Genny!!
Please correct me if I'm wrong!!

It's true Charlie, I've found all sorts of patterns over the years, just about everything, but Barlows (I think I have an Imperial, and a shoddy IXL, with a rounded blade!)! I think they must have shipped them straight out of the country!

It’s been 15 years since I inherited this Camco USA Barlow from my grandfather. It has three pins in the smooth black scales and no model number on the back of the blade. Can anyone give a date range for it? I’m curious how many years grandpa may have carried it. Thank you.

Here are 2 more Barlows hiding in my pile of recent acquisitions. CJ Johnson and a Blue Grass Belknap. The pen blade on the Belknap is tight and snappy; it just sits up at an angle when open.

Had to look that one up!! A chaga is an interesting fungus!!
