What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

I remember that I sent those (relics) because you rarely found any old Sheffield Barlows . . . .near Sheffield!! Thanks for showing them off (again)!! Always nice to see them home again!! ;)
So
It's true Charlie, I've found all sorts of patterns over the years, just about everything, but Barlows (I think I have an Imperial, and a shoddy IXL, with a rounded blade!)! I think they must have shipped them straight out of the country!

You sent me this oldie too :) Thanks again my friend

It’s been 15 years since I inherited this Camco USA Barlow from my grandfather. It has three pins in the smooth black scales and no model number on the back of the blade. Can anyone give a date range for it? I’m curious how many years grandpa may have carried it. Thank you.
