Jack, that Hartshead Barlow is stunning. Hoping to get my first Barlow soon...BTW, where is the link for the Guardians of the Lambsfoot banner so I can add it back to my signature. Don't know what happened there :confused:

It must be a Barlow, as it says so :)
Carbon Steel classic, excellent workhorse. I did find that, generally, the more basic the knife, the lower down the model line it is, the more satisfied I am with it. This holds true for knives from various countries. Once a maker starts to make their model fancier then they start making more mistakes and people demand more quality for the money.
