What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

I don't seem to have one of my Winchester by itself, seems I always pair it with this one lol.

David that's a fine one to pair it with!

A bolster you don't come across all that often, A. Baldwin & Co,Inc, New Orleans, Goins has 1874 to 1939, they were a hardware sporting goods store. Definitely made by Schrade Cut Co, they match up exactly even the fonts on the bolster stamp.

Thanks Jeff, now that you mention it I'm not sure I've ever seen French ivory on a barlow, I've seen quite a few with cracked ice celluloid.

It has been Qualified as a Barlow . That is a pretty good knife too my friend .
